Eau de parfum and eau de toilette aren't standardized formulas
Fragrance labels such as eau de parfum and eau de toilette usually suggest different concentration ranges, but there is no universal rule requiring every brand to use the same percentages. Manufacturers may also change the ingredient balance between versions. Two bottles bearing the same fragrance name can therefore smell noticeably different, not merely stronger or weaker.
