helicopter rotor blade speed limit lift drag

A helicopter rotor can limit speed

As a helicopter moves faster, one rotor blade moves forward through the air while the blade on the other side moves backward. The forward-moving blade can face extreme drag and vibration; the backward-moving blade can lose lift and stall. This imbalance can make more speed unsafe before engine power runs out.
