Why quantum teleportation transfers rather than copies a state

Quantum teleportation does not make a copy

Quantum teleportation moves the state of a quantum object using shared entanglement, a measurement, and ordinary information. The original state is destroyed while the same state is created elsewhere. There are never two copies of it at the same time.
