Newtonian mechanics low speeds weak gravitational fields

Newton’s laws still work at low speeds and weak gravity

Newtonian mechanics brought the motions of objects on Earth and in the sky under the same laws. Relativity did not make those laws useless: they remain good approximations when speeds are far below the speed of light and gravitational fields are weak.
