Operation Carthage Copenhagen school bombing 123 civilians

A British air raid accidentally bombed a Copenhagen school

123 civilians killed

Several crews mistakenly bombed the school instead. The operation killed 123 civilians, including 87 children, even as it struck the intended German target.
