Dead Sea Scrolls preserve different biblical wording
The Dead Sea Scrolls include Hebrew biblical manuscripts from the last centuries BCE. They mostly agree with later Masoretic texts, but some passages differ, showing that the wording of biblical texts had not yet become completely fixed.
