Even an anonymous average can expose someone’s private data
Imagine a published statistic showing the average salary of just two employees. If one employee knows their own salary, they can calculate the other's exactly. This is why removing names from a dataset does not automatically protect privacy. Even aggregated numbers can reveal individuals when the group is small enough.
